In Excel, how to create a visual calendar from a list of dates stored in a separate tab

With Excel, how is it possible to create a visual calendar from a list of dates stored in a separate tab?

In a separated tab (example):

- date 1 : sept 17, 2023 = trainings of trainees (!) - family 'Trainings'
- date 2 : sept 18, 2023 = trainings of trainees (!) - family 'Trainings' (repetitive task or duration of 2 days)
- date 3: sept 22, 2023 = boss visit - family 'Boss events'
- date 4: sept 28, 2023 = =customer xyz visit - family 'Customers'
-etc.

With the information on this database on a specific sheet: shading of table cells with correct dates on the 'visual calendar'.

The target, with a list of events (either one day or on several days), is to show on a calendar view these events in order to have a visual overview.

How can we do that ?

That is possible. Could you attach a small sample workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make it available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar?
