I'm looking for help with a formular
I am looking for a way to combine duplicate rows and add amounts at the same time.
for example I have a spreadsheet that has multiple different names and addresses and amounts. I want to combine the duplicate names and addresses to one column but add the amounts that are different and can't figure out what formular to use.
John Doe 140 main st 5.00
Sue Doe 120 Main st 4.00
John Doe 140 Main st 4.00
after it would look like
John Doe 140 Main St 9.00
Sue Doe 120 Main st 4.00

gibby_home How exactly is the data structured? All in one cell? Or perhaps in separate columns for Name, Address and Value? If the latter, you can use a pivot table.
