IF statement with 2 cells

Hello,

 

could you please tell me if a statement like this ( IF(B1="F";C1="Failed" ;else C1="not failed") is possible?

if yes ,could you please give me the formula

    When it's not a formula, it will be some macro. Formula returns the value into its own cell
