I open a worksheet, and the Excel program opens but there's no file
Help. I open a worksheet, and the Excel program opens but there's no file. The file (in Explorer shows a file with a size. This is the first time this has happened. I need these files.
- After opening, click the View tab and if available, click the Unhide button. If that button isn't available, click "Arrange All", Tiled.

JKPieterse's recommendation is excellent.
If the issue persists, other things to try:
•View menu | verify workbook isn't hidden. Unhide will be active if the workbook is hidden
•repair Office (Quick repair if using 365)

JKPieterse I went to open the file today, so I could try this, but it opened with no problems. Because of this I am going to see a psychiatrist to see if I'm mentally stable. Then I'll have a drink, so I can relax. Thank you for your help. At least, in the future, if it happens again I have the solution. Take care
