I need help calculating the correlation coefficient
I am trying to figure out how to calculate in Excel the correlation coefficient of each survey question on a survey to the overall rating question mean score. I am embedding a table below of six sample survey questions with the mean score of each question and the total number of respondents. What I would like to know is how you perform the correlation coefficient analysis of each question to the overall rating question on the survey. I would like the results to show as I have them in the Column D of the image below.
Question | Mean Score | n | Correlation Coefficient to Overall Rate |
Overall Rating of Food | 98.25 | 50 | |
Taste of Food | 95.25 | 50 | .52 |
Quality of Food | 92.75 | 50 | .31 |
Look of Food | 93.25 | 50 | .25 |
Smell of Food | 91.50 | 50 | .15 |
Presentation of Food | 90.75 | 50 | .65 |
Any help with this calculation would be greatly appreciated.

Could you attach a small sample workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make it available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar?
