I have excel 2016 microsoft office version. How do I get power pivot as an add in to my software?
I am taking a class that uses power pivot for some of the lessons. I would like to be able to get power pivot as an add in. My version apparently does not have this as an add in option.

Power Pivot is built-in into 2016. Check File->Options->Add-ins->COM Addins->Go.
If nothing is here, it is not supported for your version of Excel, you may check here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/where-is-power-pivot-aa64e217-4b6e-410b-8337-20b87e1c2a4b
If not supported when only to upgrade on another version.
