I have a pivot table and want to show an extra column, can I do that?

I have the following table and pivot table next to it. How do I add the description field as well? If  I drag the description field to the Rows section it has this expanded look where I can collapse/expand it. Is there a way just to add the column without having the expanded/collapse buttons.
