I get circular ref error when I open a file with multiple tabs. How do I find the error location?
There's no link in the message - it appears no matter which tab is visible when the file opens.

On the Formulas tab of the ribbon, in the Formula Auditing group, click the drop-down arrow on the right-hand side of the Error Checking button. Move the mouse pointer to Circular References.
You should see a fly-out menu listing cells that contain a circular reference.
