How would I use Vlookup or PowerQuery to execute this function?
I have two data sets (1) Scheduled Customer Orders and (2) Open Customer Orders and I need to match and retrieve customer name and corresponding open order number with/if their scheduled order (if there is a match).
Since you're asking for help, one can presume that you're a relatively new (or inexperienced) user of Excel. Given that, it would be a lot easier to give you practical and specific help if we had a lot more details on how your two data sets are organized. If it's possible, please post a copy (or a mockup without real names of real customers) on OneDrive or Google Drive and paste a link here that grants edit access.
