How to use conditional formatting to highlight differences between two columns
Hello
I have applied these three conditions formatting as the first on its own didn't work (had to add col AD with a true or false statement)...
=$AA9<>$AC9 make it red
=$AD9=FALSE make it red
=$AD9=TRUE no colour
but still it sometimes highlights the same data (ie both both say '1'), sometimes differences are highlighted (correct), and sometimes it doesn't highlight the difference. Is there any other way I can shoe differences?? Or what is going wrong. Happy to supple and extract of data if necessary.
Thanks
Sarah

The rule for conditional formatting works as intended if the "applies to" range is:
=$AA$9:$AC$26
- SGeorgieBrass ContributorFyi it's a refreshable table if that makes a difference
- SGeorgieBrass ContributorStill highlights same data

Can you attach a screenshot which shows the data and the manager for conditional formatting? A screenshot like the one in my last reply.
