How to restore the option to delete row in the edit drop down menu in Excel Checkbook 2023
I just downloaded excel checkbook 2023 and am setting up my register. Originally I had the option to delete row in the edit drop down menu, but then after deleting a column I now only have the option to delete columns. I want to restore the option to delete a row instead of deleting columns. How do I do that?

There are many checkbook templates for Excel. Could you attach a small sample workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make it available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar?

Thanks for your reply. Somehow my initial problem (restoring the delete row option) resolved itself. But now the entire template that I saved to my Excel templates appears to be contaminated, and I haven't a clue what to do.
When I follow the instructions that appear when the checkbook template opens and enter a balance in cell G3, that total doesn't register above in the Current Balance line. Instead a series of ######## appears. Can you send me a template that actually functions?
I would happily share a copy of this workbook, but that doesn't appear to be option here in this community reply form. Sharing this workbook via OneDrive, Google Drive, etc doesn't appear to be an option.
