How to resolve this

Hello!

I have no idea how to resolve below problem :)

I have a given value "X". I need to check if this value is contained between value in cell "A1" and "B1", if yes then formula should return to me value from cell "C1". If no, then it should check if "X" is cointained between value in cells "A2" and "B2" and return value from cell "C2" etc...

I was trying with nested IF but couldn't manage to solve this. Please help :) Below sample:
