How to prevent chart (plot area) from drag and drop?
In the excel sheet, I am creating a chart. I can make chart poistion independent by > Format Chart Area > Properties > Don't move or size with cells.
However it is preventing automatically resizing according to the columns.
But what I want is,
I still can be able to move (drag and drop) the chart/plot area through out the excel. How can make chart area position fixed to particular area/columns, So that it can't be moved once its position is fixed.

R.Click on "chart area"
"Format Chart Area"
Choose "Size & Properties"
Check "Locked"
Then R.Click the Sheet that containing the chart
Choose "Protect Sheet…"
Make sure the option "Edit objects" is Unchecked.

No, I dont want to protect sheet. Somebody should be able to edit and also shouldn't be able to drag it. I am looking for options other than protect.
