How to get a Single Timeline with Pivot Tables from different Data Sources?
Hii, @community
My present work is to make a Dashboard using 7 Different Excel files, I have connected these sheets through PowerPivot DataModel and made the required PivotTable. There are 3-4 columns that are common in all the sheets, for example, the Column Name "Line No." (Range 1-6) So, I created a new file in which only Line numbers are there without any repetition, which is used as a primary key for connecting all the files.
After the successful connection, I used a slicer for "Line No." and made some report connections, which worked for the pivot tables. The date is also a standard column, but when I insert a timeline and make report connections, it works only for the pivot table with which I have created the timeline.
Please let me know if there is a way to make a single timeline with this scenario.
Thank You

NikSat Since you also sent me a direct message I'll summarize the answer I gave you there.
Similar to the unique line item table, you need to create a Calendar table with unique dates for all dates that exist in your model. Relate all tables to the Calendar table based on the date and use the date from the Calendar table in your pivot tables. Then the slicer should work.
- NikSatCopper ContributorHi Riny, I tried the method you mentioned, but it's not working if I have one timeline for each pivot table. Then is there a way to connect these timelines internally so that if I change one timeline, others should also change automatically?
Is it possible?- Riny_van_EekelenPlatinum Contributor
