How to display a range
How to do to display a range? If we have a value of for example 2,08 in a cell and want to display an acceptable range/variation, lets say +-1%. It can be displayed as [ =(2,08-2,08*1%)&"_"&(2,08+2,...

TiborM57 here you go
=ROUND((2,08-2,08*1%),2)&"_"&ROUND((2,08+2,08*1%),2)- bhushan_zMay 27, 2020Iron Contributor
must be formatting thing, try '"." instead.
Use this:
=ROUND((2.08-2.08*1%),2)&"_"&ROUND((2.08+2.08*1%),2)

TiborM57Excel doesn't recognize the values in the formula as numbers, why?

TiborM57 Try it this way.
=TEXT(2.08-2.08*1%,"0.00")&"-"&TEXT(2.08+2.08*1%,"0.00") or =TEXT(2,08-2.08*1%;"0.00")&"-"&TEXT(2,08+2.08*1%;"0.00").... depending on your locale (i.e. decimal point or comma, list separator comma or semi-colon)
Combining cells with the &-sign creates texts. Then you can no longer use regular number formatting.
