How to create a tracking and reminder Template in Excel
Hello,
I have a few questions and am wondering if this is even possible. I am trying to create a tracker in excel based on existing data that I import into a different sheet within the same document that will pull information to let me see when a person's next appointment is. I would love to know if there is a way to highlight cells based on date so I can follow up. Something like, if the visit date was 15 days ago, highlight the cell in red.
I'm also wondering if there is a way to link information from one sheet to another, if the information across the different sheets and the data from could be tied to a specific cell so it can be updated across sheets and automatically pull into one sheet to show the current status or the action that needs to occur. The issue I'm running into is that I have more information than I need. If I could have a way to just pull a name, most recent visit date, and any upcoming visits from one sheet and have it populate into another, with conditional formatting that changes colors within a date range, that would be great.
Thank you for any help!

Yes, all of that is possible.
Is it possible for you to post a copy of the workbook you have--devoid of real names (just substitute movie character names)--on OneDrive or GoogleDrive, pasting a link here that grants us edit access to the file?
Without access to a real file, it would be difficult at best to describe to you the methods to accomplish what you're asking. The methods are not difficult in themselves, but that you are asking suggests that you have limited experience with Excel, do you can help us help you by giving us access to a working spreadsheet.
