How to copy the chart
I need copy the chart but without reference to previoous data.
Prepared huge graph and have number of different tables (same format) and need to have number of different graphs.
If i copy whole sheet it still refers to data in sheet1 (works in older versions but not any more)
I need to clone graph or whole sheet but i need graph to point to specific data in actual sheet not in sheet1.

Hello Martin, are you just trying to save the chart look and feel? If so, you want to save the chart as a template and then apply that chart type to your new data. Right click on the chart and choose Save as Template. Name it, but do not change the location. Now when you have any spreadsheet, this will be listed in the templates section of the Chart types for you

Hi Martin
I would imagine that if you copied the chart (or make new sheet), you would need to redo the data in the chart by right clicking onto a blank (white space) portion of the chart box, and selecting Select Data... where you can then change the Chart data range (e.g. =Sheet1!$K$5:$N$9).
Whatever your sheet name is, just change it in the range formula if, as you say, the format of the new sheet is the same.
If I'm not understanding right, it may also help to upload a sample of what you want, if you can and I'll take a better look at it!
Good luck!
Cheers
Damien
