How to copy and paste in excel without hidden rows but maintain formatting

I have a large file with filters.  Am trying to copy & paste without hidden rows which I've turned on Go To Special and clicked "VISIBLE CELLS ONLY", but when it comes to pasting, it's not keeping the formatting.

Example: consists of 3 columns. First column is either Vehicle, Battery or Charger. Second column is the model and 3rd column is the serial number.

I want to take all the Batteries and paste into a separate column; then take the Chargers and paste into a separate colunmn. I still want to maintain the formatting, with row spaces.

Hope it makes sense.

want to maintain the formatting, with row spaces.?
What do you mean with row spaces or formatting?
    what is your expected result?

Thanks for your response. I have multiple rows of Batteries (for example), so if I copy and paste with the Go To, it omits the rows where the Chargers are and places them directly under each other. I can sort column A, but was wondering if there's a formula or step I'm missing to avoid this.

so if I copy and paste with the Go To
what do you mean the Go To?

Can you share your workbook and show your expected result?
