To use the date format yyyy/mm/dd.
1. Type a date in any cell
2. Press CTRL + 1
3. Select Custom.
4. Clear "General" and type in yyyy/mm/dd
5. Click OK
This will return for example 2020/01/14 (yyyy/mm/dd)
