How do I import a tab delimited text file into Excel?

Question

Years ago it was a built in feature but the previous automatic detection of TAB and COMMA delimited files are no longer there.&nbsp; Is a third party text editor required?

Detlef_Lewin&nbsp;Unfortunatly, that feature is not available on the web version of Excel, only the deaktop.&nbsp;Any other suggestions?&nbsp;Thank you for your response.

Try copy and paste data to Android smartphone WPS/EXCEL app and sav the new file to .xlsx
