How do I import a tab delimited text file into Excel?
Years ago it was a built in feature but the previous automatic detection of TAB and COMMA delimited files are no longer there. Is a third party text editor required?
The feature is hidden because there is a better and more powerful feature: Power Query / Get and transform.
Detlef_Lewin Unfortunatly, that feature is not available on the web version of Excel, only the deaktop.
Any other suggestions?

- Try copy and paste data to Android smartphone WPS/EXCEL app and sav the new file to .xlsx
