Typically by attaching it to an email.
You can also--if you have accounts with Google or Microsoft (or any of a number of cloud services)--usually share a link to the file in GoogleDrive or OneDrive or whatever else you might have.
Now, if those answers don't make sense, come back and explain where communications are breaking down. Do you know, for example, how to attach some other kind of file to an email, perhaps photos, or a word document?
