How do I covert a time (17:41) to a numerical number (17.41) so I can do a calculation?
Trying to do a comparison of time worked to start minus end time of a vehicle being driven.
Doug-1959 You don't have to. Excel will recognize 17:41 as a time value and you can deduct start time from end time to get a duration. Beware that you may have to custom format the result as [h]:mm in case hours may exceed 24.
