How do I count a specific word in a column?
hello you Excel-lent people, How do I count a specific word in a column? Here, I would like to count the word 'Overdue' and have the total in C2
Alternative proposed solution
=SUMIF(C4:C12,"Overdue")
COUNTIFS applies criteria to cells across multiple ranges and counts the number of times all criteria are met. SUMIFS adds the cells in a range that meet multiple criteria.
