how do I copy an IF formula down a column
what do you mean "Please enter a value for this field"?
It could be copy down as any other formula, drag the cell with it down or select the range and Ctrl+D.
If you have some error could you please give bit more details - which exactly formula do you use and where it is located related to data used.
