Hour, Minute, Second functions

Question

I use the hh:mm custom format for cells to enter start and end times. Then calculate time consumed by subtracting start time from end time (hh:mm).&nbsp; I need to split the hours and minutes to calculate the total minutes. Using the hour and minute functions on the time consumed cell, returns 00:00. What am I doing wrong?

Other way you may simply apply custom format to the result for elapsed time in minutes
