Horizontal Axis Scale

Hello, I currently have 250 approx data points (ranging from 0 to 1.5 secs) and want to reduce this to 5 on the horizontal axis for a graph I’ve produced. There seems to be no scaling option on the recent Excel.

Would be great if anyone had instructions.

Not sure if I interpreted your question correctly, but I assume you now have approx. 250 data labels on the horizontal axis and you only want to display every 50th or so, as this will reduce the number of labels displayed to only 5.

You can achieve this by selecting the horizontal axis. Then right-click and select "Format Axis...". A panel should open where you can select "Labels" and set the interval between labels to 50. I have attached a screenshot (I'm on Excel for Mac, v16.31) that shows the "Format Axis" panel.

If this does not resolve your problem, please upload your file so that I can have a look at it.
