hi

hello.

how to change the color of a part of a cell that includes numbers only. following is an example:

let's say the date is 12/10/2022 and all of it is one color.

what i want to be able to do is change the color of a part of the date.

how do i change the color of the month(10) portion of the date?

i know i can change the color of the full date, but i am not able to figure out how to change the color of just a part of a number or a part of a particular date.

thank you

    Hi kalyani_ch1987

just click in the formula bar and highlight the part that you want to change (e.g. month). And then just select the desired font color from the ribbon:

Use Substitute formula by giving reference cell
        text in B2
=SUBSTITUTE(B2,".","") but color will not display, it will display 11101987 after removing full stop
        (11.10.1987)
