hi can anyone help me

how would I create a button on a sheet 1 to pull the oldest items entire row of data  from sheet 2 to display for management to review the oldest item. 

 

they do not want to just sort the table. they want to be able to click a button and quickly find the oldest item on the list. 

 

Please advice

    First a couple of defining questions for you:

    1. How is the oldest item identified? I.e., what on that row of data could be used as the unique key to say "This is the oldest record"?  I'm assuming there's a date, maybe even a date and time, but am asking because it may be something else...like just being at the bottom or top of the list.
    2. If there is a column displaying dates, such that the oldest (earliest) date would be the key, what is to happen if there are two or more items with the same date?

    And if it's possible without revealing proprietary or confidential information, would you be willing to post a copy of the spreadsheet on OneDrive or GoogleDrive, and then paste a link here that grants edit access to that file? That would help us help you.
