help please! view problem or text problem?
Hey everyone,
Please help. I have used the same file for a couple of years now, but recently changed my PC and our Tech Guy in work said that now my Microsoft apps are on the cloud rather than on the PC. Not sure if it's relevant but anyway. This same file that I always use has a column where I keep all upcoming dates of note - days off, no lunch required etc. etc. Each cell is set to font size 36 and when I first type it and save it, everything looks fine. When I log back in, the text is so small that i can't even read it! BUT when I click on the cell, the font size is still 36! When I increase the font to 48 it changes no problem, but then again I save, close, open again and the text is too small to read. Attached a copy of what I mean.

Shona,
The last row seems to be fine. Try to copy format and paste to the other rows with problems.

Shona, first not everything is online - based on your picture it looks you use Excel installed on your notebook (yes, from the cloud).
Fonts - perhaps the font you used in your file is not installed in your system now. Did you try to select the column and apply any available font?

Thanks for getting back to me. It's the same no matter what font i use.

Excel Online or Excel Desktop?

Sounds like your PC has a high resolution screen. Windows has real problems on legacy apps with hi res screens.
I would just increase display text size from 100% to 200% maybe even 250%. It's in the advanced display settings settings.
It may not be that but it's common problem on modern hi res screens.

Tried a bigger display font, but everything else increased except those cells! Thanks anyway

Select your cells and in format (Ctrl+1) please uncheck Shrink to fit if checked
