Help not working with excel. Tells me to check internet, which is working fine
Using office 365, client version on desktop. Gets error telling me to check the internet connection, which is working find .. that is how I got access to the community.
This is likely caused by an M365 account error. Go to File | Account and click the 'fix account' button to resolve (if present) or choose Sign Out then Sign In.

by clicking File then Options>Trust Center>Trust Center Settings...>ActiveX Settings and disable Safe mode
restart office and it works
