Help needed to figure out best way to analyse information

Dear Excel Community,

I would really like some help in finding a solution in analysing data in the attached Workbook.

There are four columns,

Columns A & B contain data from one source (Master Data)

Columns F & G contain data from another source.

The "Master data" has more entries than the data in columns F & G, however they should be identical.

I would like some assistance in creating a formula or some sort of conditional formatting whereby i can easily identify entries where data in Columns A & B don't exactly match data in columns F & G).

If someone could assist, that would be great.

As always, thanking you in advance.

    Yes, indeed.

To see the conditional formatting rule, click in a cell in column A or B, then select Conditional Formatting > Manage Rules... on the Home tab of the ribbon.

Same for columns F and G.

HansVogelaar Thanks for that, very helpful and seems to do the trick :).

Can i just check, where it's highlighted orange, that's where there is no match on either pairs of columns ?

      Thanks

      Raj
