Help ! Horizontal Drop Down List Without Blanks Excel

Hi Everyone, I want to create a horizontal drop down list without any blanks

    Latest desktop Excel removes blank cells automatically. Perhaps still for insiders, not sure.

    Same on Excel for web

    On previous version if create helper range without blanks. Again depends on version.

        I don't think 2021 will be updated with new functionality, but who knows.

        In it you may generate helper range at any place of your workbook, like

        =FILTER(A2:H2, A2:H2<>"")

        and create data validation list referencing it.
