Group weekly data into monthly data
Is there an easy way to take weekly data and group it into monthly data. I downloaded Google Trends for the last five years for the keywords "Private Schools" and "Primary Schools" and the google date came across like this below and I just want to see it by month instead of by week.
| Week | Private school: (United States) | Primary school: (United States) |
| 7/5/2015 | 13 | 49 |
| 7/12/2015 | 14 | 54 |
| 7/19/2015 | 15 | 60 |
| 7/26/2015 | 14 | 68 |
| 8/2/2015 | 16 | 82 |
| 8/9/2015 | 15 | 88 |
| 8/16/2015 | 17 | 94 |
| 8/23/2015 | 17 | 93 |
| 8/30/2015 | 16 | 87 |
| 9/6/2015 | 15 | 84 |
| 9/13/2015 | 15 | 79 |
| 9/20/2015 | 14 | 79 |
| 9/27/2015 | 14 | 76 |

In addition to mathetes comment - you may transform texts to dates by selecting dates columns, Data->Text to Columns, on first step of the wizard select Date type and MDY.
Insert PivotTable and group on months. Not sure which aggregation to use.

If those dates are actually Excel date fields and not text masquerading as dates, then a Pivot Table would be able to do it basically automatically. Are you familiar with that feature (Pivot Tables)?
If not, post a more complete sample and I or somebody else here can demonstrate.
