Graphics in Excel disappear after upgrade to Windows 11
I have a workbook that I've been working on for months. It has embedded graphics on five of eight worksheets. While updating the graphics on sheet 1 all the graphics on all sheets suddenly disappeared. A limited example is shown below. I tried Undo. I tried adding new graphics. I verified selected objects had line color assigned and are not transparent.
I checked Files>Options>Advanced>Display Options. All good there.
This happened on one other workbook in a similar way. Last week my wife sent me a workbook to edit from her Macbook. I tried adding some graphics with no success; added graphics didn't show. I checked to see if they were there but invisible by attempting to select them. They were not selectable. I gave up and sent the file back to her and discovered all the graphics I tried to add, but were not visible and not selectable, were actually all there and visible on her Macbook. This seems related to the issue I just experienced on the workbook I was editing just now.
None of this happened prior to upgrading to Windows 11.
Ideas?

Another thought: have you checked Home | Editing | Find and Select | Selection Pane to see if the inserted objects show as hidden?- Jeff57Copper Contributor
Thanks for the suggestions and I've learned some new tricks. It seems that for now I don't need them. After and hour of doing other tasks (and lunch) the Excel file is working normally upon opening (graphics restored). This doesn't mean it won't happen again.
For now I'm assuming its a graphics display issue with my Lenovo Yoga 914. I've had issues with this computer, enough such that this life-long pc user is about to switch to a Mac.
