"Getting Name" bug on my worksheet
One of the cells in my worksheet has a "Getting Name" bug on my worksheet - I have no idea what this is referring to - I've never seen this in my 40-years of using Excel - there are no Range Names no...
Same issue. I had two workbooks open when my electricity went out for a few minutes. Now both cells that were selected at the time of the outage have this issue. One workbook has three flashing dots that when moused over show "Getting name..." as depicted by OP. The other workbook has the unidentified person symbol as depicted by 12/25/25 commenter Vexen_C, which also displays "Getting name..." on mouseover.
I have saved closed and reopened both workbooks multiple times and these persist. We need a solution.
My workbooks are saved in MS Teams. No one but me has accessed them in months.
