Getting excel to retain manually written comments, even when data refreshes from odata feed.

Hello 

I have an odata feed running into an excel spreadsheet which populates various columns and refreshes every time I open it. However, I want to add a comments column that will allow users to add notes against each row and for those comments to remain with the row, even when the data refreshes and new lines of data are added from the feed. 

Is there a way of doing this?
