Geography Data Type #CONNECT! error message when changing city to country

Looks like a bug. For Paris they added French First Republic as a country, but there is no such one among countries now.
- Thank you! Is there a way to fix this? If not, is there a formula that reads my column H (City) and Prints the country in Column K. I.e. when it read Paris in H, Print France in K, without using the geography data type.
