Freezing Heading in a spreadsheet

I have been a user of Excel for many years, and I now have forgotten how to freeze the Row Headings, so they don't scroll with the data under such.

If you want to freeze the top row:

    • Activate the View tab of the ribbon.
    • In the Window group, select Freeze Panes > Freeze Top Row.

If you want to freeze more rows:

    • Select the entire row below the last row that you want to freeze.
    • For example, if you want to freeze the top 3 rows, select row 4.
    • Activate the View tab of the ribbon.
    • In the Window group, select Freeze Panes > Freeze Panes.
