formulas\calculations in excel

i have not worked with excel for quite some time. Somethings are coming back to me but formulas and functions are not.

I have a PURCHASED and a SOLD column with dates. I want to create a formula to show how much time passed between these,

I have a PURCHASED PRICE and SOLD PRICE. Again, I need a column that can do the math.

Thanks for your help

    Hello -

Please review the attached file. I have included a simple formula to subtract one cell from the other {Sold - Purchase}, however this does not exclude any weekend or holidays.

The Networkdays.Intl Function will exclude weekends and holidays. I am assuming you live in the USA, so I used USA holidays. Please review column "G".

To find the Difference in Price, all you would need to do is subtract the higher cost cell from the lower cost cell (Example:  Cell L2 - Purchase Price = $15; Cell M2- Sold Price = $25 ---formula =M2-L2)
