formulas
The object cell of a formula shows the formula rather than the product of the formula.
IF the cell containing the formula is formatted as Text, change its number format to General, then press F2 to edit the formula, and press Enter to re-confirm it.
On the Formulas tab of the ribbon, in the Formula Auditing group, click on Show Formulas to toggle the display of formulas off and on.
- Thanks, but I clicked on Show Formulas and the formula still shows in the cell.

- The cell is formatted as Number but I entered the amount manually, then replaced it with a formula and it worked. Thanks again.
