Formulas and functions
Help!!! I am starting to think I have lost my mind. I am trying to do the basic Sum
10*90 and instead of a total the value in the cell shows =Sum(10*90)
I think I have tried it all and my boss is getting frustrated even though the lap top is new to me and possibly hit a wrong function key. Cleared cell contents and tried again and nothing.

Laurie2124 I suspect that you accidentally pressed the "Show Formulas" button the Formulas tab.
Press it again and all should be OK.
By the way, no need to use SUM. Just use =10*9

- I took a break and came back to it and couldn't believe I hadn't thought of that. I think the pressure of someone standing over your shoulder makes a big difference. Thank you for your response.
