Many thanks for replying - The challenge is that my example does use () first and then division, then addition but then multiples which is out of the sequence.

 

How would you do the orginal example ?

    If to receive 40.5 it'll be

    =((5+10)/2+6)*3

    or

    =((A1+B2)/D4+C3)*E5

    That was the question?

      Perfect Sergei - I see using a (( a the beginning and a single) assist the formulae when reverting back to a multiplication.

       

      Do you have any recommendation of any on-line videos on this topic or workbooks for additional learning?

        Perhaps you may check Microsoft tutorial - in your Excel go to File->New, search for "formula tutorial" and open this template
