Formula for finding columns that contain text strings
- Dec 14, 2019
Hi Jan, please see attached. This includes a small subset of my data.
Column A contains a subset of approx 4000 unique text strings ("narrative situations")
Columns B-AA each contain subsets of the text strings from column A.
For each string in column A, I want to know which of the columns (B-AA) where it appears.
Note: because I have chopped up my original data for this sample, many of the strings in column A may not be present in any of the columns (B-AA).

Thanks Detlef,
I think Power Query is a good step to the result I need. However, I would like each unique narrative situation to be in a single row with the results in a single comma delimited cell, for example see below:
Can your Power Query be modified to achieve this result? Can you explain how to do it on my end so I don't have to share all of my data here? Or is this too complicated for a non technical person such as myself? Thank you.
