Formatting y-axis line appearance separate from tick marks
Hello! Is it possible to format y-axis so that the line itself would not be plotted, but the tick marks would be visible? Right now in Excel if I enable tick marks (Axis options -> Tick Marks -> Major and Minor), they are not visible unless the line itself is plotted (Axis options -> Line -> Solid Line). I need to have only the tick marks without the vertical line, is it possible? If it is not possible via the menu, but possible via VBA, would appreciate the info on how to do it.
Here is what I get in Excel:
Here is an example of what I need, done in another software:
As far as I know, it's not possible. The color of the tick marks is inseparably linked to that of the line.
