Formatting Dates in Cells - subsequent year.

Hello -

I'm using the formula ddd, dd-mmm (e.g. Wed, 10-Apr)  to create a spreadsheet with a date column. I've started with June 2024, and want to go through to July 2025. When I use the same formula for my January spreadsheet - it uses the day of the week for 2024, not for 2025 (assuming it's using the system date). How do I write a custom code to use dates in 2025 for my January - July months?

Thank you for your help.

Specify the year explicitly when you enter the dates, even if the year is not displayed in the cells.

If you enter a date without specifying the year, Excel assumes that it is in the current year.
