Formatting balance sheet
Hi, Im trying to format a balance sheet...with three columns . Left is debit, middle is credit, right is Balance. How do I format the right hand side to calculate correctly. I've tried formatting ...
Dear William, sorry for the late reply as I've been busy. I had someone from excel help me solve the problem. I was trying to format the right hand balance column. In case someone else may need to know the formula for a balance sheet it is as follows for Row 2 .... =E2-D2 For Row3 ...=F2-D3+E3 Then copy and paste the formula to get the balance right through to the end of the column.
