Formatting balance sheet

Hi, Im trying to format  a balance sheet...with three columns . Left is debit, middle is credit, right is Balance. How do I format the right hand side to calculate correctly.  I've tried formatting ...

Michelle_Mai71 What kind of format would you want? Or are you talking about making the formula to calculate the right hand column? Or both?

    Dear Riny, sorry for the late reply as I've been busy.

    I had someone from excel help me solve the problem. I was trying to format the right hand  balance column. In case someone else may need to know the formula for a balance sheet it is as follows 

    for Row 2 .... =E2-D2 

    For Row3 ...=F2-D3+E3 

    Then copy and paste the formula to get the balance right through to the end of the column.
