format phone numbers
I am using the Custom format number option to get a phone number format, but when I enter just numbers, this is what I keep getting. I have tried using the special phone formatting and the format painter, but nothing seems to be working. I don't know why

Thanks, but the issue seemed to be the general formatting of my numbers. Once I took the decimal places out on the defaults, both methods worked
