format painter
Hello:
I have been using format painter for a while and now I am unable to double click the icon and apply multiple formats anywhere. I am only only allowed to click it once and then repeat manually. Any suggestions? (Office 2016 home and student)
I have:
updated to latest version
reset excel in regedit
offline and online repair in app features settings.

That's for Format Painter icons on ribbon (Clipboard section) as well as for for the icon in right click menu; and for any file, not some specific one? If so it's better to repair the Office.
